SLAM! Arizona Elementary is the latest addition to the SLAM! family of tuition-free public charter schools. SLAM! stands for Sports Leadership Arts and Management. The first SLAM! school was opened by Pitbull in 2012 in Little Havana, the neighborhood where he grew up in Miami. Since then, SLAM! has expanded to 14 schools across four states: Florida, Nevada, Georgia, and Arizona. The schools serve almost 7,000 students from kindergarten to 12th grade.
